Finding a new place to belong

Jay’s first foray into organic farming at Double J Ranch got  him thinking more about what it meant to truly belong.  In a short nonfiction piece, “When You Shoot Horses,” he wrote: “I often wonder where I belong. The question is part personal. Is there something else I should be doing with my life? And it's part existential? What does it even mean to belong.”
